President's Message
Members of the Campus Community:
I am pleased to present the California State University, Fresno Budget Book for FY 1999/00 which reflects another year of continued growth and support for the University. The General Fund budget presented includes several significant increases over the FY 1998/99 initial budget, including $5.7 million for increased compensation and a $5 million special initiative increase for the California Agriculture Technology Institute (CATI). The campus also received additional increases for Enrollment, Campus Technology, and Plant Maintenance but these were offset by adjustments associated with a Retirement Rate Reduction and removal of One-time and Temporary FY 1998/99 funding. The following reports provide detail and summary data on the allocation of the General Fund budget for California State University, Fresno, for fiscal year 1999/00 as well as final budget and expenditure data for FY 1998/99 for comparative purposes.
This document also includes similar detail and summary budget/expenditure data on Continuing Education, Health Fee, Lottery, Parking, and for the budgets of the University Auxiliaries.
