Financial Aid

Financial assistance is available to students and families from all income levels. This funding comes in the form of grants, work-study, scholarships and loans from federal and state governments, lending institutions, private donors, and organizations.

All students are encouraged to file a 2003-2004 new window. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the Fall 2003/Spring 2004 academic year.

March 2, 2003 was the PRIORITY filing date for all programs; however applications MAY be submitted after this date. Contact the Financial Aid Office for specific program deadlines.

Financial aid recipients who completely withdraw may be required to repay some or all of the financial aid received. Refer to California State University, Fresno Withdrawal Policy.

To conform with state and federal student financial aid regulations, the University is required to enforce standards of satisfactory progress. All funds administered by the Financial Aid Office are subject to these standards. The intent of these standards is to encourage a student to make steady progress toward the completion of degree or credential requirements within a reasonable period of time.

For additional financial aid information, please contact the Financial Aid Office, Joyal Administration Building, Room 296, (559) 278-2182 or consult our
