Parking Areas

Vehicles with parking permit are authorized to park only in designated areas. All restricted parking stalls are posted and a designation is displayed. View the color campus map parking area designations.

Most parking lots are designated by color:

Green	Student and Visitor parking. A green or daily parking permit is required
Yellow	Restricted for the use of faculty and staff only. All Yellow lots are open to Green Permit holders after 7:00 p.m.
Blue	Restricted for the use of disabled individuals only. A Blue DMV Permit or placard must be displayed. A valid parking permit must accompany the DMV placard.
Gold	Lots R and UBC require Special Permits and are enforced at all times.

Carpools and Ridesharing

Students can find a carpool partner by contacting Commuter Services at (559) 278-2277 or visit Valley Rides to Work and School. Simply logon and follow on screen instructions.

Students who carpool to campus with another enrolled student are eligible to park in the student rideshare parking lots. The reserved student carpool spaces are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. To obtain a rideshare parking permit, visit the Parking website.

The Commuter Services office is located in the USU Pavilion, downstairs from the clock tower.
