  1. Can I change my Fresno State student email username once it has been created?
  2. Answer:

    Unfortunately we can only change a student email username in the event of a documented harassment issue, all other requests will be denied.

  3. How do I reset my email password?
  4. Answer:

    Fresno State students can reset their password by going to the following site Fresno State Email, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Click here to reset your CSUF Student Email password" link.

    Fresno State Faculty and Staff Members can reset their password by going to the following site Password Management.

    CVIP and SCCCD customers can reset their password by calling the Help Desk during normal business hours.

  5. Is my password for email the same as the password for My Fresno State and Blackboard?
  6. Answer:

    Yes.

  7. How do I submit a work order with the Help Desk ?
  8. Answer:

    Click on the "Support" link in our main navigation menu. This will bring up our Help Center site. Under each affiliation group, there is a section called "Submit a Work Order with Auto Agent". This will allow you to submit a work request directly to the Help Desk.

  9. I just changed my Windows logon password, does that affect my email password?
  10. Answer:

    No.

  11. Do you sell software to faculty/staff and students at a discounted rate?
  12. Answer:

    Yes. The CVIP billing office does carry a wide array of current software suites that are available to CSUF faculty/staff and students at a discounted rate. Please contact the CVIP billing office at (559) 278-1111 option #1.

  13. Is there a campus directory that I can use to search for campus departments and faculty members?
  14. Answer:

    Yes. The campus directory can be found at http://directory.csufresno.edu

  15. What are the Help Desk hours and where is the Help Desk located?
  16. Answer:

    The Help Desk is open from 7:00am to 10:00pm, seven days a week for telephone support. Walk-in hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. The Help Desk is located in the McKee/Fisk building, room 150 on the Fresno State campus.

  17. How do I check my Fresno State email?
  18. Answer:

    Users can access their email messages by either going to the campus email site and logging into their account. Users may also access their campus mail by setting up an email client such as: Outlook, Mac Mail, Entourage, or Thunderbird.

  19. Do I get to keep my student email account after I leave the university?
  20. Answer:

    No. At the end of each semester the ITS Systems Group removes all email accounts of students who have not taken classes within three semesters or students who graduated three semesters prior.
