Employees receive 13 paid holidays and one personal holiday per year.
- Campus is closed during a holiday.
- The observance of Lincoln's Birthday, Admission Day, and Columbus Day is deferred until the end of the year so that California State University - Fresno can be closed the last week of December.
- An employee is entitled to the paid holiday on the day it is observed unless the employee is on non-pay status on the holiday or is required to work to perform necessary services.
- The holidays listed above are in addition to the Personal Holiday every employee receives on January 1 (Personal Holiday must be used by December 31).
