Recycling at Fresno State

Public e-waste collection program

Currently on hold – please send an email to lisak@csufresno.edu to request an email notification when a collection date is selected.

Why are we doing this?

On February 9, 2006, it became unlawful to dispose of e-waste in the regular waste stream. We recognized that Fresno County households and businesses had few options for the recycling of e-waste (including CRTs). As a result, the University started providing the public with a collection point for these materials in January 2006.

E-Waste Collection Dates:

The last E-Waste Collection date was Oct. 18, 2008. The program was placed on hold until a suitable e-waste recycling company could be selected that would provide a more economic solution for the public. .
