Fresno State Improves Recycling Program (added 8/21/2007)

Campus negotiated an agreement with Sunset Waste to collect all trash and recyclables on campus beginning this fall (September 2007).  Sunset Waste will charge the university for labor and hauling and then credit 100% of our recycling income against these charges. To gather more recyclables, 10-large dumpsters will be placed around campus for paper and other materials from offices and classrooms.  Sunset Waste will also operate the Outdoor Recycling Center on Barstow Avenue.
