| Section I: | Membership in this organization is open to all students of California State University, Fresno, regardless of race, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, gender, age, disability, veteran status or sexual orientation. |
| Section II: | Any eligible California State University, Fresno students who completes and signs a membership application shall be regard as an official Amerasia member for that academic year. |
| Section III: | All official Amerasia members will be allowed their voting rights after meeting a certain percentage of participation of at least 50% at meetings and 50% at events held by the Amerasia Organization. |
| Section IV: |
All official members of Amerasia are responsible for:

| Section V: | Any official Amerasia member, who demonstrates outstanding performance during the year of membership, will be recognized at the end of the year in an Annual Recognition Ceremony. |
| Section VI: |
Membership will be suspended or revoked by the organization under the following conditions:

| Section VII: |
The initial hearing in determining the suspending or revoking of membership will be held
during a regular meeting date and time with the members present. At that time, the
members will discuss and vote anonymously based on three-fourth majority vote to
reinstate, suspend, or revoke the individual’s membership.
The final decision to suspend or revoked the membership of an individual will be made by the Amerasia Executive Officers, which include the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, based on a anonymous majority vote of three-fourths. |
| Section VIII: | The individual with whom the membership is being suspended or revoked from has the right to object or appeal the decision by submitting an appeal form to the advisor(s) or to any executive officers of the organization. Upon receiving the appeal, the Amerasia Executive Officers and advisor(s) will hold a confidential meeting to discuss the matter and make a final decision on the appeal. The student who filed the appeal will receive a ruling within 14 business days from the date received. |
