This just in: We are the recipients of the SHRM Outstanding Student Chapter Award! The award is given to only 10 Student Chapters in the nation who have achieved the Superior Merit Award for the year and completed a special project that advances the Human Resources profession.

If you are interested in attending the HRACC luncheons over the summer break, please contact the president so your name can be added to the list. This is free to members who have paid their Spring 09 dues. Check the calendar for dates and locations.

Monday, May 11th, 2009 - WEBSITE UPDATE - Aaron Meyers

We have had one amazing semester. At the beginning of the month, we were notified that we achieved the Superior Merit Award once again! The chapter as a whole contributed to the attainment of this accolade. I would like to specially thank Nancy Vang, Jennifer Tierce, Mariam Mahmood, and Dr. Sanchez for their service and dedication.

Our chapter's HR Games team also took 1st Place in the State HR Games Tournament and came in Runner Up for the Regional Tournament in Boise, Idaho.
