| The two Fresno State teams took 1st and 4th in the State HR Games Tournament earning bids to compete in the Regional HR Games Tournament. The Fresno State Blue team, comprised of Pablo Ruiz de Chavez, Kristen Fragoza, and Aaron Meyers took first place by defeating CSU Stanislaus in the final round of the State Tournament. Melissa Freeman, Kelly Roberts, and Tasha Latimer were on the Fresno State Red Team which took fourth place.
Together with CSU Stanislaus and San Jose State, the four teams from California travelled to Boise, ID for the Regional Tournament. After nearly a full day of intense competition, the Fresno State Blue Team was ranked 3rd and was set to play against the Boise State team ranked 2nd for the Semi Finals. The winner would play the 1st ranked CSU Stanislaus team in the Final round. The Blue team easily defeated the Boise State team by nearly 6000 points. In an epic repeat of the California State HR Games, Fresno State was set to compete against their CSU Stanislaus rival. After an epic showdown, Stanislaus was the victor by a mere 400 points.
