What exactly is Asian Pacific Review? APR is a forum for Asian and Asian American issues.
Our main objective is to inform people about important issues and also have fun along the way.
We are not the mainstream press, so our methods may be a little unconventional.
APR was created in the late 1990s and became a voice of the Asians and Asian Americans of Fresno State and the Central Valley.
Currently, we are hoping to expand our readership and add more writers to our staff.
We welcome anyone who is willing to help us and become part of our collective. The people we work with are both academically and culturally diverse.
APR also hopes to work closely with the community and clubs of Fresno State. Only through this can we do our duty in providing an Asian voice in the Valley.
I hope everyone enjoys this special Amerasia Week issue. The theme is to show support for the local community and Amerasia Week.
Only by going out and experiencing cultural events like Amerasia Week can we become more diverse in our thinking.

Sincerely,
   Garland Gee
   Editor in Chief
