"I’m Not Green"
I'm not green but red and gold
I can't breathe fire like you've been told
I horde no gold and won't battle a knight
Nor will I burn villages for a fight

I can be as long as the Great Wall or fit on a dime
You may have seen me yet not know it at the time
Come across me and good luck and fortune you find
I'm still a Dragon just the Eastern kind

High in the mountains is where we live
Ghost stories or a boogie man told to a kid
With movements like the wind and hair like the snow
We haunt your nightmares with red eyes that glow

Your herds are not safe and neither are you
You think we are not real but that is not true
If you see footprints though you should be ready
To look and come face to face with a Yeti

My name is Kappa the Turtle man
I come from the islands of Japan
I live in the lakes, rivers, and streams
I look kind of cute but can be quite mean

I'll pull you under if you give me chance
Then steal your belly button while you're in a trance
But if you get the water from my bowl of a head
My carapace will dry out and then I'll be dead.

She walks the streets of Manila I have heard
Dressed all in white she moves without a word
Seen by drivers alone in the night
She gives many people an awful fright

Is she a ghost, demon, who knows
No one wants to follow and see where she goes
You can follow her around and she won't mind a bit
However I can't say that I would recommend it

All cultures have their own bizarre beings
Monsters and creatures few have ever seen
You can find similar beasts in other story lists
But they won't have that special Asian twist
