Academics
at Fresno State includes a broad array of offices and services, including over
fifty academic departments, eight colleges/schools,
the Henry Madden
Library, the Division
of Graduate Studies, the Division
of Continuing and Global Education and dozens of centers
and institutes. More specifically, the Provost
and her team facilitate the operations of the Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning, the Smittcamp
Family Honors College, Office
of Research and Sponsored Programs, Study Abroad and International
Exchanges Programs, the Office
of Community and Economic Development, the Interdisciplinary
Spatial Information Systems (ISIS) Center, and Teaching,
Learning and Technology (TLT).
All of these are designed to support the central academic mission of the university—that of creating an environment of engaged, student-centered learning. Those of us in Academics hope you enjoy navigating our website and that it will provide useful information on our activities.
