The President's Award of Excellence
The University Advisory Board established the President’s Award of Excellence in the Fall of 2001 to honor President John D. Welty. The award, which includes a $10,000 stipend, was established to recognize Dr. Welty’s ten years of service to the University. The award was designed to recognize a faculty or staff member who demonstrates integrity, leadership, and a commitment to the university and the community as exemplified by President Welty.

2008

2006

2005
Dr. Kathleen Curtis. At the time of her award, Dr. Curtis, who joined the faculty in 1995, had served since 2002 as the director of research and external programs for the College of Health and Human Services and director of the Central California Center for Health and Human Services at Fresno State.
