Monthly Closing Information
All December 2011 daily processing and monthly feeds should be posted by January 12, 2012 to the General Ledger.
Wednesday, January 11, 2012, is the last day for departments to submit or record any additional manual accounting journal entries needed for the month of December 2011.
By the end of the business day on January 12, 2012, Financial Accounting will close the general ledger. All areas should be able to proceed and finalize any reconciliations, account analysis, or fund reviews as of December 31, 2011. Beginning Friday, January 13, 2012, all manual accounting journal entries should be dated January 1, 2012 or later.
