SPRING 2012 - Tuition fee Payment Plan /Terms and Provisions
The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees.
California State University, Fresno has instituted a Tuition Fee Payment Plan with guidelines issued by the CSU Chancellor's Office. This optional plan enables students to defer a portion of their tuition fee (course fees, professional program fees, non-resident tuition fee, and all other fees are not deferrable).

The Tuition Fee Payment Plan is subject to the following terms and provisions:
- Students who apply for financial aid or obtain a waiver or deferral of
tuition and other fees, are not eligible to participate since payment is
waived/deferred through that process.
- This tuition fee payment plan defers a portion of the tuition fee only; it
does not defer course fees, professional program fees, non-resident tuition
fees, and all other fees.
- A $33.00 non-refundable administrative fee is included to cover costs
associated with the Tuition Fee Payment Plan.
- The Tuition Fee Payment Plan Contract must be signed and remitted with the
first installment payment (refer to the Payment Plan Schedule above for fee
rates). Course fees, professional program fees, and non-resident tuition fees
must also be remitted when applicable.
- Payments and contracts must be received no later than 5:00pm on Friday,
December 2, 2011.
- Payments and contracts not received by December 2, 2011, may result in the
disenrollment of all classes.
- Deferred Tuition Fee balances will be due on February 27, 2012.
- Payments not received by February 27, 2012, may result in the disenrollment of
classes and forfeiture of all tuition and other fees paid to date.
- Payments may be made at Cashiering Services, located in the South Lobby of
the Joyal Administration Building, or may be mailed to:

Important notice regarding personal checks presented for payment: " When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us either to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. "
