Cashiering services is located in the Joyal Administration Building, next to the building's courtyard. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted at the windows. Also available online at My Fresno State, for tuition and fee payment, is SmartPay. SmartPay accepts credit cards and charges a convenience fee of 2.75%.
A Financial Aid Fee Deferment permits eligible students to delay payment of course registration fees. Deferments are issued based on the expectation that fees will be paid by financial aid. This deferment allows students with unpaid fees to remain registered for classes, but only until the fifth week of the semester. The Employee Fee Waiver Program is a benefit for eligible Faculty/Staff employees of the California State University (CSU) system. It allows employees or their spouses, domestic partners or dependents an opportunity to enroll in CSU general-fund courses at reduced rates. The fee waiver does not apply to courses in self-support programs including Extended Education Programs or Open University. Fresno State's office of Accounting Services is responsible for reporting and collecting tuition and fees. Refunds are processed timely when established procedures are followed to cancel registration, drop courses, withdraw for an academic period or in the event of a returned check.
