Auxiliary organizations are formed to provide essential functions which are an integral part of the educational mission of the University. They are separate legal entities authorized in the Education Code to provide essential services to students and employees in accordance with local written agreements.
The following comprise the Auxiliary Organizations at California State University , Fresno :

The Agricultural Foundation of California State University, Fresno provides support for the financial management of the enterprise units and student projects. The Agricultural Foundation is responsible for ensuring prudent financial management of the enterprises and providing other related assistance to the College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. The Agricultural Foundation supports the University Farm Laboratory. The majority of capital expenses associated with the University Farm Laboratory are funded through the Agricultural Operations budget rather than through the Agricultural Foundation. Management and accounting services are provided by the Association.
The California State University, Fresno Association, Inc. (Association) is comprised of the following operating units: Kennel Bookstore, University Courtyard (Housing), the Save Mart Center , the Student Recreation Center , University Food Services, and the University Student Union. The Association handles all of the commercial operations on behalf of the University. Campus commercial operations shall be self-supporting. Any surplus funds from commercial operations shall be used for such purposes as are consistent with CSU regulations. Student body center fees are collected by the University and then transferred to the Association for facility bond costs and operating costs for both the University Student Union and the Student Recreation Center .
The Associated Students of California State University, Fresno is a student-run organization that operates such activities as student government, student newspapers, cultural programs, and other student activities related to the overall educational mission of the campus. Management and accounting services are provided by the Association.
The California State University, Fresno Foundation ("Foundation") administers the scholarship, student loan, and endowment program. Provides post award fiscal administration and support services for over $25 million of grants/contracts, research, and other projects throughout the University - receiving funds from Federal, State, and local agencies, private companies, and private non-profit corporations. The Foundation acts as fiscal agent for approximately 700 campus program trust accounts. The Foundation is the designated auxiliary to receive and administer all gifts and bequests to the University. Management and accounting services are provided by the Association.
Fresno State Programs for Children, Inc. ("PFC") operates the following four child care sites: Campus Children's Center (3) and the Early Education Center (1). These sites are funded by parent fees, State and Federal Grant and Contract funds. Management and accounting services are provided by the Association.
The California State University, Fresno Athletic Corporation was created to operate the University's intercollegiate athletic program. The intercollegiate athletic program offers 17 sports (7 men and 10 women), most of which operate within the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Funding for the athletics program includes general fund support, ticket revenue, charitable contributions and revenue distributions from the NCAA and WAC.
