Commadant of Cadets - Major Thomas Ringlein
Major Thomas J. (T.J.) Ringlein is the AFROTC Detachment 35 Commandant of Cadets at California State University, Fresno. He arrived in May of 2006 from his last duty assignment at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, where he was on the USAFE Headquarters Staff for Logistics, as well as Chief of Logistics at the 38th Combat Support Center. Major Ringlein is a career Logistics Readiness Officer, and has also served at the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, and the 62d Air Wing at McChord Air Force Base, Washington. Major Ringlein has spent the majority of his career as an Aerial Port expert, having spent over six of his ten years active duty in that specialty. He has also deployed in support of Operation Southern Watch to Prince Sultan Air Base in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia, Operation Enduring Freedom to the Joint Task Force Gitmo in Guantanamo Bay Naval Station, Cuba (Camp Delta), as well as to support Operation Iraqi Freedom to the 40th Expeditionary Mission Support Squadron, Diego Garcia (British Indian Ocean Territory). Major Ringlein holds a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Fresno, and a graduate degree (MPA) from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia.
