Let us in song, our voices raise
In Cloistered Courts, to sound thy praise.
Each voice and heart that sings is true
To thee, oh, Cardinal and Blue.
For thee, our hopes and memories;
For thee, our hearts and loyalties.

RECENT UPDATE from
LAURA BERG [#44] at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA:
"We have just finished our last tour. We hit Missouri, Indiana, Michigan,
Texas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Connecticut. And, we won all of our games!
We ended the tour 54-0. Right now we have a streak of 170 tour wins, which
dates back to our 1996 tour.
By
the time you read this, we’ll be in
Athens preparing for
the Olympics. It's so exciting right now for all of us. We only have
a few days before our first game. Please keep your eyes open for us, as all
of our games will be televised on NBC. Wish us luck and keep us in your
prayers.
Thanks for the support and God Bless. And, Go Bulldogs!"
Wrestling: Stephen
Abas

RECENT UPDATE from
STEPHEN ABAS
at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO:
"The Freestyle
team has completed the first training camp. The final two days were
dedicated to simulating the Olympic Games. Each guy went through the
tournament as if it were the games itself. The mind set and visualization
were great for me, because I put myself right in Athens at the wrestling
competition.
Right
now, I’m currently in the second training camp which will finish on August
5th. Then, on August 11th we leave for
Athens
where we will be training there until we begin competing on the 27th.
I’m very excited and can't wait to get there and feel that Olympic vibe.
Thanks for the
encouragement.
Go Bulldogs!"
