The program is slated to begin in January of 2006. A native of Jamaica, Laing represented his country at its first two Olympic Games-- 1948 and 1952-- making history and winning a Gold Medal in 1952  in the 4X400m that broke a world record.

She was honored with an Outstanding Alumna Award by the Fresno State Alumni Association in 1998.

Inman Perkins was featured in "The Fresno Bee" as "a longtime unofficial Bulldog cheerleader who gets the fans going." He was a yell leader as a student at Fresno State.

Ultiminio "Tim" Rios [1993] has been promoted to Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo. He also serves as the national spokesman for its Latino business services program.
