MCJ Boot Camp

Annually in the Spring semester, the Mass Communication & Journalism Department hosts an Public Relations and Advertising Boot Camp. The Boot Camp is designed to provide students with intensive “how to get and keep a PR job” training and involves numerous area public relations practitioners.

Topics include resume building, interviews, portfolios, networking, and what to do once you’ve got the job. Between 100-150 students attend the event each time it is held. For more information, contact Prof. Betsy Hays or Dr. Roberta Asahina.
