Campus Visits
When choosing a university, it helps to become familiar with the campus atmosphere. University Outreach Services conducts daily tours of campus for prospective students and their families to become acquainted with Fresno State.
Tours can be scheduled Monday through Friday for 10 :00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. with minimum two weeks advance notice. Individual and family tours depart from the Smittcamp Alumni House (see map). Group tours depart from the front of the Joyal Administration Building (see map). Saturday tours are available by request only.
In addition to tours, our advising staff are available for one-on-one appointments between 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
After touring campus, students are encouraged to visit an academic department of their interest.
Separate from a campus tour, University Courtyard (Housing) provides individual and group tours of campus housing and residence dining facility between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. 7 days a week. Call (559) 278-2345 for tour information.
Fresno State and University Courtyard does not offer overnight accommodation to campus visitors; however, there are reasonably priced hotels/motels in town and some very near to campus. Ask Timeout "where is the nearest hotel".
