Courses Offered
The University offers an extensive number of classes. There are four sources to explore for classes on campus. Start with the online version of the General Catalog for an alphabetical listing of classes by subject. Each subject link contains a brief subject introduction, and faculty and class listings.
The next resource is the semester Class Schedule. The Class Schedule lists all subjects and classes offered for a specific semester. Not all classes are offered every semester, which requires the student to plan a strategy for taking classes. The Class Schedule is available in an electronic search format at My Fresno State. Use the "Search Class Schedule" or "Plan Class Schedule" tools to search for up-to-the-minute class listings.
A companion resource to the Class Schedule is the Class Schedule general information Website. An alphabetical class listing in PDF format is available for viewing and/or print. This information is not current. The PDF class listing reflects classes available at the time the Class Schedule booklet went to print. Adobe Acrobat is required for viewing and printing the PDF class listing.
Last but not least, the Class Schedule booklet is available for purchase before every regisration cycle. Order the booklet online or stop by the Kennel Bookstore located in the middle of campus next to the fountain to purchase a copy.
In addition to the university's regular curriculum, extension courses and Summer Session are offered to the general public through the Division of Continuing and Global Education. These courses include credit and non-credit workshops, certificate programs, professional development, and continuing education offerings.
