Facilities for Teaching and Research
The Department of Biology has resources for state of the art teaching and research. Classes are taught in technology-assisted classrooms and laboratories are fitted with modern equipment specific to course needs. The Department has specialized research equipment such as an automated DNA sequencer, flourescence, confocal and atomic force microsopes, HPLC, Luminometer, MALDI TOF-TOF Mass Spectrometer, and ultracentrifuge. Other resources include a variety of growth chambers, cold rooms, media prep room, and greenhouse.
