California State University Fresno serves an unusually diverse student population. Our students vary in age, ethnicity, cultural background, academic background, motivation, goals, learning styles, and general approach to academics. This diversity provides special challenges to instructors.

The purpose of this workshop is to introduce faculty to our student body and their special needs, and, through discussion, to discover strategies to enhance student success.
