Essential questions to be discussed in this interactive session include:

• What factors influence the brain to pay attention in my class?
• Can a student accurately process what I am saying and read a text message at the same time?
• If each neuron can connect with the help of some 600,000 dendrites, why am I struggling for just one?
• What are some brain-science-aligned strategies that can promote student engagement in my course?
