Graduate Advising Workshops

All graduate coordinators/directors, graduate faculty, and staff who work with graduate students are encouraged to attend these workshops. Three separate workshops will be presented by the Division of Graduate Studies staff, who will update you on policies and procedures relative to admissions, classified standing, advancement to candidacy, graduation, and the culminating experience.  Included this year are a number of new topics and procedures.

Sessions will be held in UC room 202.

Part I: Sept. 14, 2:30-4:00 p.m., will include sources of information, domestic and international admissions (including the paperless process), special admissions and the upcoming "one-step" process. 

Part II: Sept. 22, 1:30-3:00 p.m., will include classified standing, academic probation and disqualification, advancement to candidacy (including the new on-line ATC forms), and graduation.

Part III: Sept. 29, 9:00-10:30 a.m., will include the culminating experience, Q & A and What's New at DGS? LOTS!!!
