As the Instructor of a large community service-learning course and the Director of the the Office of Civic Engagement and Service-Learning, I (delete "can") provide assistance with the development and implementation of a service-learning component for new or existing courses. I (delete "can") also speak to classes and student groups about the importance and value of community service for college students and provide a number of service related resources, including placement information, to students and faculty.

Rich has used service-learning assignments in his classes for over twenty-five years and is willing to work with any faculty member on the implementation of best practices service-learning into courses. He has taught several Service-Learning seminars on campus and three Engaged Department Institutes. He is the current faculty Service-Learning Mentor.
