Dr. Moore Scott D. Moore

Scott Moore is Dean of the Division of Continuing and Global Education. Previously, he served the university as the Interim Chair to the Department of Philosophy and as President of the Honor Society Phi Kappa Phi. He is active in providing educational opportunity to Veterans, and members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. A first-generation college student, Dr. Moore was named the TW Adams Distinguished Alumni Lecturer by his alma mater the University of Oklahoma in 2010. He continues to publish in the area of Extended Education’s role reducing institutional bottlenecks and facilitating educational opportunity to historically underrepresented groups.
Sarah Lam Sarah Lam
Assistant Vice President for International Affairs
International Student Services and Programs


Dr. Sarah Lam is the Assistant Vice President for International Affairs. Dr. Lam has more than 20 years of experience as a faculty member at Fresno State training advisers and counselors in both mental health and educational settings. She has served roles as program coordinator and administrator in higher education. She has experience in international recruitment, study abroad, and intensive English programs services. Dr. Lam has been an international student at Fresno State from Hong Kong and participated in study abroad in Spain from the U.S. She speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin.
Daniel Bernard Daniel R. Bernard
Executive Director

Daniel Bernard as Executive Director is responsible for oversight and management of all academic programs of the Division. He directs the work of all program coordinators, and oversees all certificates, degrees, self-support terms, and individual courses offered through the Division. In addition, he directs the work of the Veterans Education Program.
Frank Frank Puccio
Manager of Finance and Administration

Frank Puccio serves as the Manager of Finance and Administration and is responsible for the oversight and management of the Division's accounting, finance and budget operations. He also oversees day-to-day functions of the Division including marketing, student registration, information technology, and more.  Frank is a Fresno State alumnus, having earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in 2005. He also holds an Masters degree in Business Administration from San Diego State, earned in 2008.
Teresa Teresa Zenteno
Executive Assistant

Teresa Zenteno is the Executive Assistant and serves as a key member of the Division's leadership and is responsible for providing support on confidential and sensitive projects to the Dean. Teresa brings 25 years of campus experience to CGE, having worked in various departments on the Fresno State campus.
Monica Monica Acosta

Monica Acosta is a Fresno State Alumna with a bachelor’s degree in Business. She joined the Division in 2000 as a student assistant and became a staff member in 2002. She is the Registrar for Continuing and Global Education and is the point person for all student registration issues.
Tracy Tracy Bessey
Marketing and Communications Specialist

Tracy Bessey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric and Communications from the University of California, Davis. She has worked in Continuing and Global Education since 1997. She develops and administers the Division's website, coordinates electronic marketing mediums including Facebook and Twitter, produces marketing videos, develops communication plans and creates marketing materials for the Division’s numerous programs.

Katie Adamo Bewarder
Associate Director of Development

Katie serves as the Associate Director of Development working with alumni and community donors to match their interest and passion with programs in need of support. Whether investing in student programs, community projects, or scholarships, gifts of all sizes play an essential role in access and opportunity to education. Katie has experience in alumni relations, event coordination, volunteer management, and community engagement. She is a two-time Fresno State alumna, having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Marketing in 2009 and a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2012.  

Tucker  Tucker Blagen
International Student Advisor

Tucker joined the international office in the Summer of 2017, but has worked on campus since the start of 2017 as coordinator of the Provost Graduation Initiative. Tucker graduated from Fresno State in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and has plans to soon pursue his MBA. With his business background and study abroad experience, Tucker is excited to be an International Student Advisor and work to enhance the International Student experience here at Fresno State. 
Tom Tom Boroujeni
Program Coordinator
Veterans Education Program

Tom Boroujeni is the Program Coordinator of the Veterans Education Program. He is responsible for oversight and management of the program, including coordinating curriculum and instruction, managing student outreach, perusing external funding opportunities, and representing the university at veteran and service member support functions.
Renee Renee Camacho
Payroll and Contract Operations, International Travel Grants, and Open University Coordinator

Renee Camacho is a Fresno State Alumna with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. She joined the Division in 2013 and is responsible for primary coordination of all faculty payroll and contracts, all aspects of the Open University program, student refunds and scholarships, Instructionally Related Activities (IRA) budgets and travel grants, and online state authorizations. She provides administrative support for the Provost Graduation Initiative, and assists with financial operations of the Division. 
Jasmine Cao Jasmine Cao
International Student Advisor

Jasmine Cao serves as an International Student Advisor. She brings to Fresno State a unique experience working as an International Student Advisor for universities in both China and in the United States. This career background provides her with a distinct understanding of the transitional issues international students experience. With her professionalism and passion for international education, Jasmine has an established record of being a supportive and dedicated international student advisor who is committed to providing services that ensure international students are successful and enjoy their experience at Fresno State. Jasmine holds a Master Degree in Social Psychology.
Junyi Kunyi Cheng
International Recruitment/Marketing Analyst
International Student Services and Programs


Kunyi serves as International Recruitment/Marketing Analyst. She holds a BA in English and MA in Foreign & Applied Linguistics from China and a MA in Higher Educational Administration and Leadership from California State University, Fresno. Kunyi brings a diversified set of international education experiences to Fresno State. She has held faculty positions in the Department of English at both Shenyang Normal University and Liaoning Administration College of Police and Justice, as well as a diverse set of roles within International Student Services and Programs at Fresno State – including serving as the CHEPD 1+2+1 Program Coordinator.
Geovany Geovany Cisneros
International Admissions Specialist

Geovany serves as an International Admissions Specialist. Originally from Mexico, he experienced the journey of learning a new educational system and adjusting to a new culture. He graduated from Fresno State in 2016 with his Bachelor’s degree and is currently in his second year of his Master’s degree. Geovany is excited to welcome new and diverse cultures to Fresno State!
 Brenton Brenton Conner
International Admissions Specialist
International Student Services and Programs


Brenton serves as an International Admissions Specialist. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Master of Science in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Brenton served 4 years in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne and has experience working with diverse cultures around the world.

Susan Susan Hawksworth
Program and Marketing Specialist

Susan Hawksworth joined Continuing and Global Education in 1996 and provides marketing and program development services for certificates, degree programs, and Special Sessions. She also coordinates the May-June and Winter Intersessions and develops strategic marketing plans for new programs launched by the Division. She has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Fresno State.
David Hoff David Hoff
Business and Technology Specialist

David Hoff joined Continuing and Global Education in 2012. He coordinates Summer Session, Early Start, and self-support degrees and certificates of advanced study. He also develops new workshops for Fresno State's Downtown Center and Visalia Campus, as well as corporate professional development partnerships. David has an M.B.A. from Fresno State.
Jamie Jones Jamie Jones
International Student Advisor
International Student Services and Programs


Jamie Jones serves as the International Student Advisor and manages the International Student Ambassador program. With a strong international and student services background, particularly in the areas of international admissions, recruitment, student services and advising, she enjoys working with international students and being actively engaged in the internationalization process here at Fresno State. Originally from Northern California, she brings with her a sense of adventure, a love of the outdoors and culinary curiosity. Jamie holds a Master's Degree in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco.

Marcela Magdaleno
Academic Counselor

Marcela Magdaleno serves as Academic Counselor for the Provost Graduation Initiative. She is responsible for the student advising and links the Division to college and school Advising Centers. She joined Continuing and Global Education in 2014, she previously worked in the Study Abroad and International Exchanges Office and has worked on campus for six years. Marcela is a Fresno State Alumna with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and Master’s of Science in Student Affairs and College Counseling.

Emily Marshall  Emily Marshall
Customer Service and Special Events Coordinator

Emily is a graduate from Fresno State with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration. She joined the Division in 2013 as a student assistant and became a staff member in 2017. She is responsible for providing a wide range of operational and procedural administrative support. She serves as lead support coordinator for acceptance of the U.S. Department of State Passport Applications. She also coordinates and organizes special events and projects. 
Alicia Montejano Alicia Montejano
International Admissions Specialist
International Student Services and Programs

Alicia Montejano has been working in International Admissions since September 2002. She previously worked in Admissions/Records/ Evaluations for four years. Alicia is a Fresno State graduate. She enjoys working with the international students and staff very much, and thus far says it has been an enjoyable and enriching experience.
Martha Martha Rodriguez
Operations Support Coordinator

Martha Rodriguez has been a member of the Continuing and Global Education team since Fall of 2009. Her on campus background includes working with the team that launched the federally funded, Educational Talent Search Program which provides academic counseling to schools in three counties. She was also a member of the team that introduced the online course management system, Blackboard, to the students, faculty, and staff on campus. As a member of Continuing and Global Education she has worked with the travel study programs, special session online certificate programs, and is currently assisting the Manager of Finance with all our financial needs.
Linh Trang Tran Linh Trang Tran
International Affairs Analyst

Linh Trang Tran is originally from Houston, Texas and is excited to start her new family in Fresno, CA. Having specialized in enrollment management for over 5 years, she is eager to use her background and experience interacting with international students at Fresno State. With her technological background, she hope to be a huge asset to ISSP. Linh holds a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Houston and is currently working on her doctorate degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Dolores Dolores R. Vezzolini
Extension Coordinator

Dolores R. Vezzolini, M.S., has worked in Continuing and Global Education for more than fourteen years and has worked on the Fresno State campus for over twenty years.  She coordinates the Extension Credit, Non-credit and Uni-track Programs. For the past three summers, she has assisted in the coordination and success of the Early Start Program. Dolores is currently a doctoral student in the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership at Fresno State leading to a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in May 2018.  
Jill Jill Wagner
Executive Director
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute 

Jill Wagner directs the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a membership program for adults over age 50 who explore new areas of knowledge and traditional disciplines through courses, lectures, and events. There are no examinations or grades. OLLI provides its members with intellectually stimulating learning opportunities throughout the year. Jill is an experienced and award-winning media, advertising, marketing and public relations professional with more than 25 years of communications experience.
Danny Wan Danny Wan
International Admissions Specialist
International Student Services and Programs

Danny Wan serves as the International Admissions Specialist. He is also the Advisor for the International Student Association (ISA). Danny has 15 years of experience in the field of international education. He has worked in scholarships & recruitment, international admissions, immigration advising, study abroad and programming. A native of both Taipei and Kansas City, Danny served in the foreign services for two years and has an extensive background in intercultural communication.
