About Dr. Berta González
Associate Vice President
Dr.
Berta González is an alumna of FresnoState where she completed
her Bachelor of Arts degree and teaching credential program. Her Master
of Arts degree was earned at California State University, Chico and she
completed her Doctor of Education degree from University of the Pacific
in Stockton, California. Post-doctoral coursework was completed at Yale
University in the area of higher order thinking skills.
She served as the California State University system’s Resident Director of International Programs based in Mexico City where she administered and supervised undergraduate and teacher education programs. She has represented the university in various state and national boards and international committees that focus on international exchanges, teacher education, and interprofessional issues and trends.
Dr. González actively promotes global experiences and international exchanges with foreign institutions where Americans gain and develop a different perspective about a variety of issues and concepts.
