Vision, Scoliosis and Diabetes II Screening in the School Setting
15 CEU Hours Available
This one-unit course will focus on scoliosis and vision screening in the school setting. Topics include: state mandates, setting up screenings, completing screenings and follow-up on positive findings. Application of current research and nursing theory will be incorporated. Students will practice screening on other students during class time and will complete a post-test.
This continuing education offering is sponsored through the Department of Nursing at California State University, Fresno. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP14728 for 15 hours.
Written notification of withdrawal must be sent to Continuing and Global Education prior to the first class meeting in order to receive a full refund. After that time, no refund is made.
Enrollment in this course has been restricted by the Department of Nursing at California State University, Fresno. For those participants who wish to enroll in this course, please contact the instructor, Patricia Gomes, at pgomes@centralusd.k12.ca.us, to request permission to enroll.
