There are two separate and distinct admission procedures. You must complete both sets of admission procedures; each occurs independently of the other. First, you must be admitted to the Division of Graduate Studies at the University; second you must be admitted to the Departmental Program.
University Graduate Admission
All graduate and postbaccalaureate applicants must file a complete graduate application as described in the graduate and postbaccalaureate admissions materials at www.csumentor.edu. Only on-line (electronic) applications are accepted. The deadline to apply for the Fall 2017 GIS program is August 1, 2017. Early application is highly encouraged as space in the program is limited. To expedite the application process through CSUMentor, please email the program coordinator (Dr. Luke Wang, email@example.com) prior to applying online, and notify him of your intent to enroll.
The University has individual application requirements administered by the Division of Graduate Studies. They require specific admission items, such as the submission of the CSUMentor on-line graduate application and application fee, official transcripts, and graduate level test scores (not required for this program).
International Students (and some applicants with foreign documents) must also submit formal TOEFL scores. Specific admission requirements of the Division of Graduate Studies may be found on their website.
Please note that the $55 application fee is non-refundable, even if you apply to the University after the admission deadline.
Domestic applicants (U.S. and territories) may contact the Graduate Admission Office at 559.278.4073, for more information. All application support materials such as transcripts should be sent directly to their office as soon as possible to this address:
