Non-Credit Travel Study Programs
Our non-credit travel study programs are designed to educate as well as to entertain, and to enrich the traveler by helping them make sense of a foreign land rather than simply providing viewfinder glimpses of it. Join fellow travelers who want to experience another culture under the guidance of in-country specialists who share their insights about the contemporary, natural, and historical aspects of your destination.

Spectacular South Africa & Victoria Falls Safari

Join Ralph Waterhouse, an experienced tour guide and naturalist specializing in African travel, for this wildlife safari. He is the retired Director of Fresno's Chaffee Zoo. His professional career spanned 33 years master planning and directing several zoos nationwide. He and his wife, Dr. Cheryl Waterhouse, have organized and led safaris since 1987 to Botswana, Kenya, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Ralph's passion is sharing his knowledge and love of wildlife. He introduces people to the beauty of Africa: its animals and their environments, and the indigenous peoples living near them. He and his wife continue to support village schools, conservation, and entrepreneurial enterprises helping small communities.
