Registration Information 

Students may register for Continuing and Global Education classes online.

You may also register for Extension credit courses in person or by mail. Forms are available from:

Preregistration is strongly recommended because it will assure you a place in the class of your choice. It is required for many classes.

Please note:you must pay online or in person within 24 hours of registration or you will be automatically disenrolled. (Payment accepted online: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or Echeck) If you do not wish to enroll online, complete the printed registration form (found here) and submit it to our office. Payment will be made at the Joyal building, Cashier's Office (Visa, Mastercard, check, or money order, no cash accepted).

For regular credit courses

  1. First Day Registration is permitted on a space available basis. Attend the first class meeting where you will receive registration forms.
  2. Check, credit card information, or money order, along with the registration form, must be sent to the Division of Continuing and Global Education; California State University, Fresno; 5005 N. Maple Ave. M/S ED76; Fresno, CA 93740-8025. Cash is not accepted. If you are submitting payment to the Accounting office or Cashiers windows (mail-in or walk-in), please be sure to indicate that payment is for a CGE course so that your payment is receipted correctly.
  3. You are expected to attend all class meetings.
  4. Registration is not permitted on or after the second class meeting unless permission of the instructor is obtained. 

For short credit courses

  1. Note the registration deadline of some short courses. Many of these workshops are limited in size because of staffing and classroom restrictions.
  2. Check, credit card information, or money order, along with the registration form, must be sent to the Division of Continuing and Global Education; California State University, Fresno; 5005 N. Maple Ave. M/S ED76; Fresno, CA 93740-8025. Cash is not accepted. If you are submitting payment to the Accounting office or Cashiers windows (mail-in or walk-in), please be sure to indicate that payment is for a CGE course so that your payment is receipted correctly.

For non-credit courses

Full payment of fees is required at the time of registration. You may use credit card, check, or money order to pay fees. Cash is only accepted at the Cashier Windows. Make your check payable to Fresno State and mail it to the Division of Continuing and Global Education; California State University, Fresno; 5005 N. Maple Ave. M/S ED76; Fresno, CA 93740-8025. If you are submitting payment to the Accounting office or Cashiers windows (mail-in or walk-in), please be sure to indicate that payment is for a CGE course so that your payment is receipted correctly.

There is a registration deadline for all non-credit courses. You are not registered until the forms and fees are received by the University.

Registration Procedures for Veterans

Veterans who are attending school and wish to use their Montgomery GI Bill should first contact the Veterans Office in Room 121 of the Joyal Administration Building. You may also contact them at 559.278.7030.
