Registration Information
Currently, students may register for Continuing and Global Education CREDIT classes in person, by mail or online.
You may register for Extension courses in person or by mail. Forms are available from:

Preregistration is strongly recommended because it will assure you a place in the class of your choice. It is required for many classes.
Please note: if you register online for your class, you must pay online or in person within 24 hours or you will be automatically disenrolled. If you do not wish to enroll online, complete the printed registration form (found here) and submit it to our office with your check, money order, or credit card information (no cash is accepted).
Fees for Extension courses are set by the Board of Trustees of the California State University. Fees are listed next to courses in the online catalog.
For regular credit courses:
- First Day Registration is permitted on a space available basis. Attend the first class meeting where you will receive registration forms.
- Check, credit card information, or money order, along with the registration form, must be sent to the Division of Continuing and Global Education; California State University, Fresno; 5005 N. Maple Ave. M/S ED76; Fresno, CA 93740-8025. Cash is not accepted.
- You are expected to attend all class meetings.
- Late registration is not permitted on or after the second class meeting unless permission of the instructor is obtained. Registrations received after the first day of class will be charged a $10 late fee per course.
For short credit courses:
- Note the registration deadline of some short courses. Many of these workshops are limited in size because of staffing and classroom restrictions.
- Check, credit card information, or money order, along with the registration form, must be sent to the Division of Continuing and Global Education; California State University, Fresno; 5005 N. Maple Ave. M/S ED76; Fresno, CA 93740-8025. Cash is not accepted.

For non-credit courses (registration available in person or by mail ONLY):
Full payment of fees is required at the time of registration. You may use credit card, check, or money order to pay fees. Cash is not accepted. Make your check payable to California State University, Fresno and mail it to the Division of Continuing and Global Education; California State University, Fresno; 5005 N. Maple Ave. M/S ED76; Fresno, CA 93740-8025.
There is a registration deadline for all non-credit courses. You are not registered until the forms and fees are received by the University.
Registration Procedures for Veterans
Veterans who are attending school while using the Montgomery GI Bill should first visit the Veterans Office in Room 106 of the Joyal Administration Building to activate their educational benefits. Veterans will be required to pay their registration fees prior to enrolling.
