Dr. Hasson earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Oxford University (UK), and his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Birmingham University (UK). He then carried out postdoctoral research in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences department at UCLA before joining the Chemistry department at Fresno State in 2001.
Areas of Specialty
Dr. Hasson teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in Physical Chemistry including CHEM 108, 110A/B, 111 and 215. He also teaches a graduate level class in his specialty, Atmospheric Chemistry. His research includes field measurements, kinetic and mechanistic studies, and theoretical calculations aimed at improving our understanding of air pollution and climate change.
