Dr. Mayer earned her B.S. in Chemistry at the University of Puget Sound and her Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry at Dartmouth College. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Organometallic Chemistry at the University of Oregon before accepting a position at California State University Fresno in 1983. She is currently a full professor.
Areas of Specialty
Dr. Mayer teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in general and organic chemistry including Chem 1AB, Chem 8, Chem 128AB, Chem 129AB, and Chem 235.
