Graduate Programs and Information
The master's is the highest graduate degree offered in the Chemistry Department at California State University - Fresno. Our faculty works closely with all students, providing careful advising and supervision of research. The department offers courses in the five areas of chemistry - analytical, organic, inorganic, physical, and biochemistry; and in interdisciplinary areas of forensic science and biotechnology. The programs are available to both full-time and part-time students. The majority of the graduate students also serve as teaching associate for the department.
The Department offers two graduate degree programs that are designed to meet the needs of students; the M.S. degree in Chemistry and the M.S. degree in Forensic Science. The department also contributes to the biotechnology programs offered through the biology department.
