 Cassandra L. JoubertCassandra L. Joubert, ScD

Dr. Cassandra Joubert is the Director of the Central California Children's Institute. She received the Doctor of Science degree in maternal and child health from the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, and the Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and child development from Howard University. Prior to joining Fresno State, she served as Vice President at the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan in Detroit where she oversaw the Foundation's $48 million grantmaking program.

Cassandra has also held senior positions with the Ruth Mott Foundation and the Michigan Office of Minority Health, as well as academic positions at the University of Oklahoma, College of Public Health and the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Public Health, and the principal author of a book on children's mental health. She has served on a number of nonprofit boards focusing on children's issues, and has been an advocate for children throughout her career.

Wendy DavisWendy Davis, M.S.

Wendy Davis is the training coordinator at the Central California Children's Institute. She earned her Associate of Science Degree in June of 1997 in Business Administration, graduating with a dean's list award for maintaining a 3.7 GPA. In April 2016, she obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology and in December 2017 she completed her master's program. Wendy hopes to utilize her experience and education working with and advocating for under-served and minority populations. 

Wendy's job consists of preparing, facilitating, monitoring, and evaluating training activities in the department. She has over 15 years of experience working in an administrative capacity in areas such as scheduling and arranging meetings, event planning and logistics, budget management, and being an available resource to faculty, staff, students, and the public who are seeking additional information.
