Message from the Chair
Welcome to the Department of Kinesiology at California State University, Fresno. Our goal is to make your life better by providing an education and a variety of practical experiences, workshops and certifications which will help you create a professional career. The Department offers courses, labs and real-world experiences specific to careers in exercise physiology, biomechanics, sport and exercise psychology, public school teaching, athletic training, coaching, corporate fitness and wellness, clinical exercise physiology, and more. We have a young, well-educated faculty, who are very involved in teaching, research, health and wellness promotion, and athletic performance. We are a very student-oriented Department, and we want to help you customize a direct and efficient educational experience that will most effectively prepare you for your professional life. We take an open-minded and creative approach to education and practical experiences, and we specialize in finding ways to help you achieve your goals.
