Keynote Speaker - Sue Falsone, PT, MS, SCS, ATC, CSCS
Director of Performance Physical Therapy at Athletes' Performance and Core Performance; Major League Physical Therapist for the LA Dodgers.
Sue received her Physical Therapy degree from Daeman College in her hometown of Buffalo, New York. She continued her education by earning a Masters Degree in Human Movement Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Admission to Spring 2010 semester is closed for ALL categories at all 23 CSU campuses. However, Fresno State's Division of Continuing and Global Education (DCGE) programs will not be affected by closure.
DCGE offers Open University, which allows individuals to register for regular university courses on a space available basis without being admitted to Fresno State; and Intersession, which occurs between regular semesters and offers credit courses that anyone can attend.

Fall 2010 Admission: We will begin accepting applications for admission for the fall 2010 semester on October 1, 2009. Prospective students are encouraged to apply by the November 30, 2009 priority filing deadline. We expect to be open to applicants in the following categories: first-time freshmen, upper division transfers, returning students, and postbaccalaureate students seeking a credential, masters, doctorate, or advanced certificate.
We expect to be closed to the following categories: lower division transfers, unclassified postbaccalaureate students, second baccalaureate students, and visitors or concurrent enrollees from other CSU campuses.
Information regarding the application period for the fall 2010 semester will be posted on CSUMentor in August. The CSUMentor site is at: http://www.csumentor.edu

Course Requirement Change!
Kinesiology 118, Fundamentals of Exercise Physiology (3 units) is now required as a pre-professional course for the MPT/DPT. Students must complete this course (or equivalent) prior to beginning the professional MPT/DPT program.
Nursing 124, Pharmacology in Nursing (2 units) will not be required. This course is still counted as an elective for the IHRS degree
***Effective for student entering IHRS Fall 2007. The change does not affect completion of the major for students enrolled in the major, but will be recommended to those already enrolled. The requirements affect students applying to the PT program effective application Fall 2007.
