Teaching Associates Program
Teaching and forensic assistantships are awarded to qualified classified graduate students. The Graduate Teaching Associate Director and GTA Development Committee recommend GTA teaching assignments, which are approved by the Communication faculty. GTAs will typically teach two sections of lower division General Education courses under the close supervision of the Director. The exact number of positions available vary each year. Employment as a Teaching Associate is parallel (but independent) to the graduate program admission application process.
