Welcome to the College of Science and Mathematics
The College of Science and Mathematics provides professional training at the undergraduate and graduate levels to serve as a foundation for a career in science or mathematics, to provide preprofessional training in preparation for careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine and other professions or for continued study at the graduate level.

Dr. Andrew Rogerson is the new Dean of the College of
Science and Mathematics as of May 1, 2008.
Dr. Rogerson is a Professor of Biology and has served as the
Dean of the College of Science at Marshall University (West Virginia) and as
the Associate Dean and Director of Graduate programs at Nova Southeastern University,
Florida.

On May 7, 2008, awards and honors were presented at the Annual Academic Assembly of the CSM. Here we see Sheena Marie Edmonds receiving the Howard P. Kubo Award for Biomedical Science from Dr. Shirley Kovacs, Chair of Biology. Dean Rogerson and Rebecca El-Bendary of the Dean's Office add their congratulations to those of the assembled college.

Andrea Salazar from Psychology, an undergraduate scholar in the MRBS-RISE research program, explains her research to Dr. David Frank, Chair of the Chemistry Department.
