The Departments and Facilities of the College of Science and Mathematics

The seven departments of the College are housed in four buildings on the Fresno State Campus. Additional facilities include:

• The Downing Planetarium and Space Museum in the Department of Physics hosts thousands of local area children and visitors each year.
• The Department of Justice Crime Laboratory supports the Forensic Science program in the Department of Chemistry.
• The Moss Landing Marine Laboratory, located on the Central Coast, supports degree programs in marine biology.

The Science Center concept descrbes the plans for support in the sciences for both the California State University, Fresno campus, and for the surrounding community.
