M.A. Psychology, ABA Emphasis

The Department of Psychology offers a special Master's Program in Applied Behavior Analysis. Please visit the Departmental web site for more information on their Master's Degree Programs. Here is the ABA program as they describe it:

The Master of Arts in Psychology program at California State University, Fresno offers a specialized track in Applied Behavior Analysis that allows students to meet coursework, experience, and degree requirements for national certification as Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Coursework, practicum placements, and theses within this two-year program are designed to develop students’ clinical and research skills with a specific emphasis on behavior analytic applications with children. Two foci underlie all program experiences: 1) providing behavior analytic services and conducting research in school settings with all populations of children; and 2) providing early intervention services and conducting research with children with autism and other developmental disabilities in school, clinic, and home settings.
