Future Leaders Seminar
The Future Leaders Seminar was developed at the request of the Chancellor of State Center Community College District who wants to develop future leaders from within the district. CVELI staff worked with the State Center Community College District Office Human Resources Department to develop the leadership course.
Each cohort of aspiring administrators attends ten 5 ½ hour sessions over the course of two years. Upon completion of the Future Leaders Seminar participants are provided with a Certificate of Completion that will serve as a value-added component on their resume` and be place in their personnel file.
Goals:
- Provide opportunity to the classified and certificated administrative staff to develop leadership capacity.
- Prepare current mid-management personnel with professional growth opportunities
- Prepare leaders who will have the opportunity to assume new roles in positions of greater responsibility as they become available.
