1) Computer Science Elective Courses are the courses of choice from the Approved Electives, including one sequence (refer to Department course descriptions) - 7 courses: CSCI 124, 126, 130, 134, 136, 146, 148, 150, 152, 154, 156, 164, 166, 172, 173, 174, 176, 177, 186, 188, 191T (max total 6 units).

2) To reduce the burden of high number of units in regular semesters, students may consider taking courses offered during the Summer-Session. The student should check with the department for the availability of courses during the Summer-Session, before deciding not to register in the regular semester.

3) Computer Science Elective Courses are a combination of 3-or 4- unit courses.

4) *The Additional (Elective) Course is required for students who have not taken 4-unit Computer Science Elective Courses, and to cover the overall unit requirement. Please refer to the general catalog for further details.
