Good day! Welcome to the web pages of California State University, Fresno Department of Risk Management and Sustainability. We are an administrative department charged with operating the University's workers compensation, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials management, emergency preparedness/business continuity and environmental sustainability programs. I am proud to lead a small but dedicated group of professionals in these endeavors.

I am equally proud of my affiliation with this wonderful university, with its richly diversified population, world-class academic programs, and vibrant extra-curricular activities. I truly hope that your campus experience will be a safe and rewarding one.

My staff and I are working for you toward that goal, but we need your help. Each of you are not just our "customers", you're part of our "staff" too! That is because being safe begins with you. Being environmentally responsible begins with you. Being prepared for an emergency begins with you. We only have one you and we only have one earth. Both are irreplaceable and worth protecting.
