Assessment & Referral

All current employees and retirees as well as their family members are eligible for assessment and referral. Children under age 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult family member. The Director meets with the individual, couple or family to assess the issue involved. Sometimes people clearly know what is bothering them, but others may come because they just feel "down". At times, the issue can be resolved by talking with the Director for one or two sessions. If more is required or a different kind of assistance is needed, the Director will refer the individual to the resources that are most appropriate and affordable. The Director is familiar with many professionals and resources in the community and will try to find the best match
